They may accept your invitation. Or they may reject you. Speaking your truth leaves nothing in reserve and holds no escape clause. You lay yourself out, and you do so because you know this is how you can be the most truthful person you can be. Of course, you hope they will honor your vulnerability and help make it safe by reciprocating. But, you do it regardless of the outcome. You must, in order to be fully truthful.

Behaving truthfully is the only way you create a world that reflects your truth. Since communication with others is one form of behavior, communication can either be Higher Consciousness behavior, by reflecting your truth, or a form of Lower Consciousness behavior, when it does not stem from your truth.

SpeakTrue Invitations™ is not the same as “greeting cards.” Greeting cards are designed only for “feel-good” experiences. Regardless of their tone, whether serious, whimsical, sympathetic, humorous or perfunctory, they all imply that the sender is a “good guy” who will not challenge the denial system of the recipient.
Standard greeting cards attempt to invite only your “positive” emotions, those which are not challenging to you. Even the greeting, “Happy birthday!”, is an attempt to sway emotional experience.
If the sender were truly interested in the greater health of the recipient, he or she would engage with them around all experiences, be available to deal with issues as they arise, and help them celebrate the lessons learned. The sender would not invite the recipient to avoid their more challenging emotions.
Knowing that this is what leads someone to Higher Consciousness, they would encourage dealing with the difficult and unpleasant emotions that are part of everyone’s life. They certainly would not participate in mutual denial. To do so only helps the recipient remain stuck in the misery of unlearned lessons. This is not love nor caring nor consideration. Participating in someone else’s denial is perhaps the most uncaring behavior anyone can ever do.
